The Chesters is a unique building with character and history and we invest consistently in the surroundings and furnishings. As a traditional building every room is different and also decorated individually to make it feel like a ‘home from home’. Residents are encouraged to individualise their rooms and many bring in favourite pieces of furniture, ornaments and pictures.
The Chesters is situated in the leafy suburb of Low Fell, Gateshead and is well served by public transport and close to many local amenities.
At The Chesters we offer excellent facilities and friendly, person centred care to meet every client’s individual needs. The Home is staffed by an experienced and dedicated team of caring personnel, who have a special understanding of the needs of the elderly.
