Show more "We are an independently run residential care home, spacialising in the care of the eldetly, suffering from Dementia, Alzheimers disease & associated mental health problems. Situated in the stunning seaside town Llandudno, North Wales, New Cranford is positioned just off the promenade in an attractive, quiet, residential area of Craig y Don - just minutes from the sea and town centre.We pride ourselves on providing a warm, caring home for all our residents, with 24 hour support from our dedicated team of professionals. New Cranford is a registered member of the CSSIW, the regulatory body for the care industry.
On joining New Cranford we carry our a full assessment on the needs, preferences, medical conditions and life history that create each resident's individuality. Our dedicated team consists of approx 20 members of staff who see to residents needs 24 hours a day, all year round. Care extends to personal and physical needs including regular toileting, bathing, dressing and grooming, whilst at the same time discretely relieving the discomfort and embarrassment of incontinence and maintaining self-respect and dignity. Elderley residents are welcome on a long term basis, in which New Cranford Care Home becomes their permanent abode, or on a short term respite care basis. We cater for the individual needs of each resident and strive towards a hoemely, peaceful environment where our residents can feel safe and secure.
Visits from loved ones are encouraged, with no rigid visiting times. All we ask is visitors bear in mind the day to day routines, meal times, and activities.
New Cranford has 3 floors with a passenger lift linking the floors. There is one main lounge, front and rear conservatories and a large dining area. The home is very spacious and encourages freedom of movement for all our residents. Outside there are seating areas and is a lovely, quiet6 place to spend a sunny afternoon. We have 21 well equipped, fully furnished bedrooms, with televisions and mostly en-suite.
