"Lowerhouse is an Independent Living scheme with 45 selfcontained one and two bedroom flats and bungalows, each benefitting from excellent storage space and a communal garden.

A typical Lancashire town with a great heart and community spirit Leyland offers a range of useful amenities including a supermarket, Post Office, hairdressers, cafes, a local market and independent shops.

Excellent transport links mean that it is easy to travel to charming neighbouring towns, spend a day at the seaside or venture out into the beautiful Lancashire countryside. The scheme is also near the acclaimed Worden Park an area of beautiful meadows and woodland.

The scheme benefits from a scheme manager service to ensure the safety and wellbeing of residents and to provide a link with doctors, families, friends and the support services. The scheme is also monitored by the Control Centre and should an emergency arise they can be contacted by pulling the red intercom cord or pressing a pendant. This service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

There are a wide range of optional social activities at the scheme including bingo, exercise classes, quizzes and regular days out. Residents also have access to a communal computer with internet access." Show less
