Radstock, a former market town, lies in a valley with shops, banks, a Post Office, library, college, surgery, churches, splendid local museums and a good bus service only a few minutes walk from the home. There is a local hospital in nearby Paulton, where Bath specialists hold clinics. The local bus service runs regularly to nearer towns such as Bath and Frome. The bus stop is only a few yards away from the home. Car service can be arranged for those unable to cope with public transport.We are a happy and caring home, the emphasis being on home, with a 24 hour care team ready to look after the resident’s needs, encourage and help them to be independent and generate new interest. The current Manager and seniors are trained in areas such as Dementia, Epilepsy, Palliative Care, and Diabetes. Most of the staff are trained in Medication, Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and First Aid & fire.
