Castle Ham Lodge is a major redevelopment of the former Castle Hospital site in Okehampton, providing a new extra care housing scheme comprising of 50 purpose built flats and additional facilities for the community. The town’s old workhouse, complete with jail cell, has had its floor raised and provides accommodation for kitchen, spa and activity room. The one and two bedroom flats are arranged in wings which shelter intimate courtyards and aid wayfinding for people with memory loss.
