Show more "Campbell Court Extra Care scheme was built in 2005 to provide secure housing for people in later life with care needs who wish to continue to live independently. The criteria to apply for this housing is people over 55 - or younger with a physical or mental health issue which staff can assist with. All applicants referred by South Tyneside Social Services and must have a care package.Places for People Living+ can usually provide support to people with various problems including visual impairment/ hearing impairment/ low to moderate memory problems and mobility problems. Care provided by Hales Ltd, with on-site care staff (24 hours / 7 days). Community alarm service in all flats and communal areas.
Our on-scheme Housing and Wellbeing Coordinator is on site Monday to Friday 9 am - 3 pm to support you with sustaining your tenancy, safety and wellbeing.
Campbell Court benefits from several lovely garden areas which residents are encouraged to help with if they wish to. Staff and the social committee work together regularly to organise activities and parties held in house with singers and buffets/ hot meals. Regular events are held to raise money to help to subsidise these events so all can afford to enjoy them. Family and friends are all welcome to join in any events." Show less
