There are activities such as coffee mornings, board games/cards, films, afternoon teas and quizzes put on by both residents and the scheme housing officer.
It has a bus route outside that will take you to town, the hospital, train stations of which there are two, and a large Tesco Extra and Asda supermarket.
If your mobile there are local shops close by, including newsagents, local convenience store, cafes, takeaways and pubs.
