Woodseats Advice Centre

What does it do?

We offer a drop-in service and telephone advice for people within postal areas S8 and S17. For specialist advice or for some lengthy interviews an appointment can be made. We also arrange home visits for the housebound (older people or people with disabilities) within our area. We regret that we are unable to offer an email advice service.

We are open for drop-in callers at the following times:
MONDAY  10 am - 1 pm, TUESDAY 3 pm - 5:30 pm, WEDNESDAY  10 am - 1 pm,
THURSDAY CLOSED, FRIDAY 10 am - 1 pm

Most of our work is done on a ‘drop-in’ basis. However, if you require assistance with Disability Living Allowance, Attendance Allowance or Bankruptcy forms, please ensure that you ask for an appointment.

There are outreach sessions at Lowedges and Totley. Our Families Outreach Worker works specifically with families on Lowedges, Batemoor and Jordanthorpe, providing home visits where necessary.
