I'm just 79 years old now but Still Rockin' - and Gee Whiz! you should hear my chair creak. Seriously though, I'm a young one really (cos you're always as young as the person you're feeling).
I've been off the road for four years due to other commitments but back in the groove again now.
My shows consist of songs (plus the odd guitar instrumental a la The Shadows) of a variety of genre but a particular emphasis on popular songs and songs from movies and shows of the 40's, 50's and 60's. I have performed in care homes for many years so plenty of experience and feeling for what kind of entertainment is wanted. I try to make a point of including songs that encourage audience participation, whether it's, Singalongs, Dancing, Foot Tapping, Hand Clapping or playing along with a tambourine or something. And I try to get a laugh or two.
