Mike’s wealth of experience in care home entertainment coupled with his ability to connect to all kinds of audiences means that Mike is the perfect choice to entertain your residents and service users. Mike is a professional vocalist with more than a decade of experience. He has performed all around the world to many thousands of people in theatres and on cruise ships. In 2009, Mike returned full time to the UK and since then has been building a reputation for being one of the best care home entertainers in the business. All of Mike’s care home performances are tailored specifically to the audience on the day. Mike carefully selects an array of songs to include beautiful melodies to stir happy memories along with toe-tapping tunes to encourage movement and participation and of course plenty of opportunities to sing-a-long. Mike also uses a state-of-the-art Bose sound system which takes up very little space allowing Mike to perform in even the smallest of lounges. The Bose system also enables the music to reach all corners of the biggest rooms at a consistent and comfortable volume so as not to upset the sensitive hearing of some residents. Whether it be swinging to the big band sounds of the “Rat Pack”, reminiscing with the wonderful ballads of Matt Monro or even dancing to such rock and roll greats as Elvis Presley or Buddy Holly, you’re guaranteed a fantastic hour of live entertainment!
