Each site has its own resident part-time warden who cover for each other. Every flat has a call alarm providing 24 hour cover. The flats are let on licence for which the residents pay accommodation charges.

These are popular peaceful havens, located in the heart of the city within walking distance of the city centre's shops and amenities. The accommodation comprises self-contained one bedroom flats and studio flats which are mostly occupied by one person living alone.
