There are 24 one bedroom self-contained flats in a three storey block. There is also a respite flat for respite care / short breaks.Dalvenie Gardens is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by Aberdeenshire Council staff. The staff provide care and support to tenants depending on their individual needs.
The scheme is also linked to a busy resource centre which provides a wide range of activities and services for older people from the local community, as well as services for the tenants who live in Dalvenie.
Dalvenie Gardens is a joint venture between Aberdeenshire Council and Castlehill Housing Association. Castlehill being the landlords responsible for allocation of flates, rent and maintenance while Aberdeenshire Council manages the very sheltered housing staff and resource centre facilities.
