It is located within the attractive village of Dunnington, which is just 6 miles out of the city centre. There are local shops which are only a short walk away via a footpath from The Glebe. These include a Hairdresser, Newsagent, Takeaway, Costcutters (with post office), Café, Bakery, Local Sports and Social Club, Public House and a Veterinary Surgery.
The local library is on Church Street just a short walk away, which is open on Monday, Tuesday Thursday and Saturdays at various times. There is a local Methodist Church on Common Road. Dunnington has two local GP surgeries, a Pharmacy and a Dental Surgery.
There is a regular bus service to various cities and towns including York, Pocklington, Bridlington, Hull and Stamford Bridge. The bus service to York City Centre runs every 20 minutes." Show less
