Show more "Miners Court in Redruth is the only Extra Care scheme in mid and west Cornwall and is here to provide a home for life for older people.
The development consists of 64 flats and is based in the centre of Redruth. It has Care and Support Assistants on-site 24 hours a day and is designed to allow residents to live independently in self-contained homes, whilst having the reassurance of full-time on-site care and support if needed.
Our Forever Young Social Hub is open to residents and non-residents. Everyone coming along can use our communal facilities to socialise, make friends and combat loneliness. This costs £7 per day." Show less

Access to site easy, but less so for less mobile people. Distances: bus stop 200 yards; shop 300 yards; post office 500 yards; town centre 500 yards; GP 1 mile(s).
Regular Social activities include: Social hub Monday to Frifday there are a range of activities on offer - arts & crafts club twice weekly, weekly fim club, and fotnightly coffee morning. Meal(s) available (lunch Mon-Fri). New residents accepted from 55 years of age. Both cats & dogs generally accepted, but not to be replaced.
