It is within a 3 minute (50 yard) walk to the bus stop where buses will take you in to Huddersfield and the neighbouring villages. Indoors the residents have a choice of two lounges to enjoy the changing views of the gardens.In Milnsbridge village you will find a pharmacy, dentist, opticians, hairdressers, barber, bakery, a bank and a large popular supermarket. The same amenities may be found in the neighbouring village of Golcar, which is approximately 5 min on the bus, whilst 550 yards walk either side of the court you have the convenience of the nearest corner shops. If you have family who live far from Huddersfield, they could benefit from using the guest room on a visit.
The court benefits from a Hairdresser who comes in once a week. There are two private Chiropodist who come to support residents who require there services. These services enable customers to live independently with the dignity respect and privacy that they deserve.
Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.
