At Waltham House, we offer purpose-built rental properties for people over the age of 60 or over 55 if you are in receipt of PIP (Personal Independence Payment) or DLA (Disability Living Allowance).Each flat consists of a good size kitchen, lounge, bathroom and 1 bedroom with a 24-hour alarm service if ever you have an emergency. The scheme also benefits from a Door Entry system for increased security. Waltham House has its own social group and activities taking place daily including bingo, afternoon tea, table top skittles, interactive horse racing, film afternoons and social events which have entertainment provided. Other facilities include an on-site laundry room (with both washers and driers), communal gardens, hairdressers by appointment only, guest room facilities for visitors and communal parking including disabled parking bays.
The flats are located very close to West Bromwich town centre which is a 5 minute walk away. Also nearby is a large health centre, library, bars, pubs and restaurants. The nearby bus, tram and train stations provide easy access to Birmingham, Handsworth, Wednesbury, Bilston and Wolverhampton. West Bromwich Albion Football Club, Dudley Zoo, the Black Country Museum and The Manor House - a stunning medieval framed hall - are just a short bus ride away.
