Show more "In Belong, 24-hour care is provided in small households, which are typically home to 12 residents, ensuring a more homely environment and enabling us to ensure residents are well known to carers. We provide nursing, dementia and residential care within these household communities.Belong villages are designed to offer four key services:
- Households offering 24 hour care for people who need some degree of personal, dementia or nursing care
- Apartments which can be bought or rented and where people continue to live independently
- A village centre with a range of facilities open to the public, and where a specialist day care service (Belong Experience Days) are provided.
- The Belong at Home domiciliary care, which goes out into the wider community to support people in their own homes
Together, these services enable us to provide a vibrant hub at the heart of the community, and a continuum of services that enable us to offer a ‘home for life’ for people that begin accessing Belong support.
Belong is a founding member of a global aged care alliance to promote the benefits of small household models, along with Australia’s HammondCare and US based The Green House Project, together advocating for the wider adoption of this model." Show less
