Show more "Burntwood Lodge is a single storey extended bungalow, registered to provide person centred support to six, mixed, older age adults with learning disabilities and other complex physical needs such as dementia, autism and sensory impairments. Accommodation consists of five single ground floor bedrooms and one first floor room with en-suite bathroom. There are two further shower/wet rooms on the ground floor, together with a communal lounge and adjoining dining area. There is ramp access through the front entrance and similarly from the lounge into the garden with patio area, and is totally adapted for wheelchair use.Our aim is to promote and encourage choice, independence and social inclusion through a structured personalised activity plan that enables individuals to maintain community links and attend other social events of their choice. Our small locally based friendly staff have many years’ experience in supporting people to become actively involved in the running of their home, enabling them to feel valued in all aspects of life.
In-house, home cooked meals (all dietary requirements and preferences catered for); excellent visitor parking, delightful quiet private gardens (with wheelchair access). Located on the borders of green belt land/open farmland, yet with excellent bus and rail connections, Caterham town centre is nearby.
