Show more "An exceptional period house situated in its own mature grounds overlooking Carmarthen Bay and the Gower Peninsula, Bryn Illtyd offers superb views from most rooms and a high standard of comfort and care in a beautiful setting.Converted to the needs of its residents around 25 years ago, Bryn Illtyd is run by the registered manager, who has considerable experience in the delivery of care. The staff are professional and dedicated individuals who believe in treating all those in their care with dignity and respect, and aim to enhance the quality of life for all residents.
Bryn Illtyd is registered to provide 40 personal care beds in private, mostly single-bedded rooms, the majority of which offer en-suite facilities. Each room has a telephone, television and nurse call system. Food is served fresh daily and can be tailored to meet certain dietary requirements if requested. The rooms are fully furnished but residents are encouraged to bring in their personal possessions to make Bryn Illtyd their home.
Decorated to a very high standard yet offering a homely ambience, Bryn Illtyd has its own hair salon, as well as visiting chiropodist and physiotherapist, while outside, the expansive and well-tended gardens include a seating area for residents.
